Mumbai airport nice little buggy to meet us from plane and whisk us away to immigration where we had finger prints taken as well as photos. Must have had sweaty hands as none of my fingers worked so all my fingers were recorded for future records. Hey does that mean we can return 😉🤔.
By the way did I tell you in cold Britain it's lovely and hot here. 😎🌴🍍
Nice little hotel set in the middle of the chaos with poor houses, traffic congested roads and stalls selling every thing you can think of.
Our driver persuaded, pushed and stubbornly manoeuvred his way through this busy city.
Today we ventured out to a National park taking an hr in the traffic but so interesting to see people going about their business.
The park was a huge area and after leaving the driver to park off we went walking. Oh by the way it was lovely and hot!!!!
We went on a so called safari in a bus with around 30 7yr old children. Well no Tiger was going to hang around with noise that was generated by these young people but I was wrong there in a enclosure were two tigers. Put there for the day trippers I expect.
Lovely to see a lady, with a van, giving out cakes etc to the local people. Children had large plates full which they were overjoyed with. Looked really yummy.
Then we visited the caves where Buddest monks once lived and worshipped. To think these were carved out with none of our modern machinery is unbeliable.
Back to the hotel thinking of a swim in the lovely looking pool but I decided not as they were setting up for a big party and decided they did not want to see me floundering in my swim suit. Workers were mostly men and their ladies usually swim with clothes on.
Lovely evening meal on the roof top surrounded by water fountains, fairy lights in trees and a lady beautifully singing and oh forgot to say it was hot 25dg. 😀🌴🍍.
Up early in the morning to fly to Goa where it will be hot and the sea is luke warm.
