We decided that 24hrs was enough of the noise and dirt in Muradeshawar. Place to see the temple and Shiva statue but spend as less time as possible there. We did have a little walk on last morning and found a quaint little village, which was very tidy, with lovely people who waved and greeted us. They were having works improving the area including putting in a new well. Very interesting remembering men go down this hole to dig it out with the minimum of tools. Saw lots of vivid blue jellyfish as well.
Moving southwards we found a little hotel in the side of backwaters and it had a swimming pool. Lovely view from room watching the locals collecting cockles by the canoe load. The only prob we sat in the restaurant for dinner to be told we would have to eat in our room as a party was going on. Ummm. Not a good meal either but we did appreciate the peace and quite for the evening.
